Setting up booking preferences

You can set up booking preferences as part of the On-Request setup.

To set up your booking preferences:

If you want...	Then...
to use the Chain Level On-Request setting	use the Use Inheritance Confirm Rule option.
to override the Chain Level setting and automatically confirm on-request bookings and payment transactions	use the Auto Reservation option.
to override the Chain Level setting and require a booking be confirmed by Owner/Manager before processing the transaction	follow the steps below. Use the Pre-Authorization option. Select the time period (timeout) in which a booking must be confirmed or denied. Select one of the following options: Always: puts the whole property request for all dates/rates/items Calendar Only: sets on-request by date for a specific rate or item or rate/item combination (all other rates will use the Pre-Authorization Timeout setting).

Click Save Changes to save your changes.
Click the property name at the top of the screen to return to the Property Dashboard.
